Louvenia Hamm Cater, 84, of Monticello, passed away on August 4, 2019 at Drew Memorial Hospital in Monticello.
She was born on February 21, 1935 in Roosevelt, Arkansas to the late Tom Hamm and Mary Edwards Hamm.
She was retired from Burlington Industries and a Baptist.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her first husband, James Travis Fore; her second husband, Johnnie Elizah Fore; two daughters, Cheryl Fore and Mary Ellen Fore; one grandson, Jamie Fore; and eleven siblings.
Survivors include her husband, Richard Cater, Jr. of Monticello; a son, John Fore and wife Rhonda of Fulton, Missouri; three daughters, Nancy Chapman and husband Steve of Monticello, Penny Heyman of Lebanon, Missouri and Betty Evans and husband Don of Pine Bluff; a brother, Billy Hamm of Arnold, Missouri; her twin sister, Truevenia Riley of Everett, Washington; 14 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 8, at 11 a.m. at Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Old Union Cemetery. Visitation is Wednesday, August 7 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
