Loyce Alberta Caloway, 96, of Little Rock, formerly of McGehee, passed away July, 14, 2021.

She was born in Humble, Texas on September 26, 1924 to the late Stanley and Lillian Blew Smith.

Lydia worked for Continental Trailways Bus Lines in McGehee for 13 years. She also worked as a cashier at Walmart for 16 years. She was a longtime member of First Baptist Church in McGehee.

Other than her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, David R. Caloway; sons, Grover Randy Caloway and James Wayne Caloway; four brothers and three sisters.

Survivors include daughters, Wanda Wyeth of Little Rock and Peggy Garrett of Lafayette, Louisiana; brother, Stanley Elmer Smith of Monroe, Louisiana; seven grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

A private memorial graveside service was held at McGehee Cemetery.
