Lura Doris Carruth Outlaw, 102, of Hermitage, died on November 19, 2017 at Chapel Woods in Warren.
She was born on March 3, 1915, in Bradley County and was the daughter of the late William Franklin Carruth and Roxie Elaine Grider Carruth.
Mrs. Outlaw was a homemaker and a member of Martin’s Chapel United Methodist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Outlaw; two brothers, Leonard Carruth and B.F. Carruth; and two sisters, Iris Roberts and Emma Dean Whitman.
Survivors are a son, Dale Outlaw of Little Rock; a daughter, Roxie Speir of Bryant; five grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren; and two special people in her life, Ken and Lenita Thornton of Hermitage.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, November 21 at 10 a.m. at Outlaw Cemetery in Sumpter. Visitation will be held from 8:30 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, November 21, at Frazer’s Funeral Home in Warren.
Memorials may be made to Martin’s Chapel United Methodist Church or a charity of the donor’s choice.
