Luther T. Richardson, 94, of Hamburg, died October 23, 2020, in Crossett.
He was a veteran of the United States Army who served during World War II and a veteran of the United States Navy serving during the Korean Conflict.
Mr. Richardson worked for Georgia-Pacific Forestry for more than 40 years. He was a member of the Gardner Baptist Church and the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post 9360. He was an avid hunter and outdoorsman and a member of the H.A. Bates Hunting Club.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, LaFran Bates Richardson in 2014; two sons, Dale and Keith Richardson; his parents, T.L. and Bertha Lee Berryman Richardson and a brother, T.D. Richardson.
He is survived by a daughter, Sandra Oliver and husband, Mark, of Hamburg; his daughter-in-law, Kathy Richardson of Hamburg; three granddaughters, Brandy Oliver of Hamburg, Melissa Richardson of Alexandria, Louisiana and Ashley Kippen and husband, Jessie, of Hamburg; six great-grandchildren, Braxton Lauhon, Corban Lauhon, Gauge Richardson, Mykaylynn Tucker, Zoey Kippen and Ashlyn Kippen and a special cousin, Charles Berryman of Hamburg.
Graveside services will be held Monday, October 26, at 2 p.m. at the Cleveland Cemetery in Hamburg with Bro. Gale Riles officiating.
Honorary pallbearers are Mike Sanderlin, Herman Morman, Jim Rush, Roger Chavis, Dennis Holland, Johnny Oliver, and Dennis Byrd.
Visitation will be held Monday from 1:45 until 2 p.m. at the cemetery.
