Lydia Young Dye, 62, of McGehee, died on October 30, 2014 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pine Bluff.
Mrs. Dye worked for many years as a real estate agent with Sherland-Young Real Estate Company. She also worked for Lucky Chevrolet for twelve years before her health failed. She loved to read and swim.
She was born at Batesville on December 26, 1951 and was the daughter of the late Waymon and Ellen Froud Middleton.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Dye; and her sons Prentice (Scooter) Young and Tommy Young.
Survivors include three sisters, Anne Cingolani of McGehee, Tammy Bogy of Pine Bluff, and Charlotte Turpin of Jonesboro; two brothers, Lamont Middleton and Kevin Middleton both of Pine Bluff; a niece and several nephews.
Visitation will be November 9 from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. at Griffin-Culpepper Funeral Service in McGehee. A memorial service will follow at 2 p.m. with Rev. Kenny Culpepper officiating. Memorials may be made to McGehee Food Pantry, P.O. Box 903, McGehee, AR 71654.
