Lynne Davis Rice, 52, of Montrose, formerly of Hermitage, died on July 17, 2017 at Chicot Memorial Medical Center in Lake Village.
She was an elementary school teacher for 25 years. She was graduate of the Hermitage High School and earned her teaching degree at Southern Arkansas University in Magnolia.
She was born on October 24, 1964 at Grayson County, Texas and was the daughter of Jim Davis and Linda Trussell Davis of Hermitage.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Mark Davis.
She is survived by her parents, her husband, Mark Rice whom she married November 2, 2013 in Drew County; seven sons, Tristan Raines of Conway, Justin Manley of Dumas, Nicholas Rice of Monticello, Mark Aaron Rice of Pine Bluff, Alex Rice of Plesenting, Texas, Adam Rice of Benton, and Jared Rice of Montrose; two daughters, Cassie Nicholson of Damascus and Michelle Massey of Conway; a sister, Debbie Pennington and husband Kerry of Warren; four grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 20 from 12:30 p.m. until service time at Frazer’s Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Pattsville Cemetery.
