Have you ever wondered how that coin disappeared or how the magician conjured that object out of thin air? On June 14, you will have the chance to try to find out when Landon Stark performs his “brand of magic” at the Guachoya Cultural Arts Center.

“This is not your ordinary magic show,” Stark said. “You can bet you will leave with a smile on your face.”

Specializing in entertainment with a comedic twist, “The Magic & Mischief Tour” offers a variety show for audiences of all ages.

“The best thing about my show is that it appeals to everyone,” Stark said. “The younger audience will be amazed by some of my tricks while the older audience will get a dose of comedy that will make them laugh out loud.”

Magician, illusionist, comedian and vaudevillian, Stark is a man of many hats, and he has folded each of these stage performing traditions into his “One-Man Act of Magic”.

Stark became transfixed by magic when, at the age of 10, he saw David Copperfield perform live. “When I saw his show, I knew what I was going to do for the rest of my life,” Stark said.

Stark has studied with Las Vegas acts, and learned from the greats such as the witty Penn and his ever-taciturn partner, Teller. He has performed for corporations such as NASA, Harley Davidson, Jet Star Airline, Dollar Tree, Walgreens, The Virginia Beach Circus and the Touring Magic Show “Believe”. He has even brought forth laughs from the producers of America’s Got Talent. From the East Coast to the West Coast he dazzles boardwalks with his version of “Street Magic.”

Stark has collaborated with hundreds of entertainers stretched along the globe and has had countless television appearances.

Many have said his act is “not your ordinary magic show.” It brings all the spectacle and excitement of action-packed entertainment under one roof, utilizing illusions, comedy, and sideshow spectacles into one performance.

The show starts at 4:30 pm. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased at the door or by calling Guachoya Cultural Arts Center (870) 265-6077. Adults are welcome.
