Jeni Barham, the chief quality officer at Mainline Health Systems, recently received the Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) designation from the National Association in Health Care Quality.

The CPHQ is a certification that allows quality professions to demonstrate their commitment, competence, and dedication to the profession of healthcare quality and show preparedness to improve outcomes across the continuum of care.

“Healthcare is ever changing, but quality has always been a solid foundation and fundamental requirement,” said Barham. “The CPHQ certification ensures that we are keeping pace with quality standards and advancements that our patients deserve. Personally, the CPHQ demonstrates to my employer, peers, and team that I have the specific quality skill set and knowledge that can make a difference in improving health outcomes. Our patients deserve for each of us to be our best, that is what I am striving to be.”

Barham has been at Mainline for 11 years.

“Mainline is blessed to have people driven to serve others and to always be the best at what they do. They are mission driven and highly competitive. No one is more driven to be her best for others than Jeni Barham,” said Mainline CEO Allan Nichols. “Everyone in our organization and people all over this state knows who she is and the work she does with Quality Improvement. When I learned of this designation I knew it wouldn’t take her long and it didn’t. I am so proud to work with Jeni every day. She inspires me to reach further and do more. Congrats Jeni, Great Job!”
