A Drew County man is facing domestic battery charges and leaving the scene of an accident.
Bradley Hall allegedly beat his wife, Shelby Hall, on December 31 and intentionally wrecked a vehicle leaving Mrs. Hall trapped in the vehicle, according to a news release from the Drew County Sheriff’s Office.
According to the news release, deputies responded to a call reporting that a woman had accidentally cut her wrist. When deputies arrived at the woman’s home on Sid Caperton Road, an ambulance was there. Duputies then learned that Mrs. Hall reportedly had been in a vehicle accident on the West end of Sid Caperton Road. She told deputies that her husband beat her and kicked her in the head and face. She also told deputies that her husband intentionally wrecked a vehicle and left the scene with her trapped inside the vehicle. Someone subsequently stopped, helped her out of the wrecked vehicle and took her home.
Bradley Hall was arrested at the residence.
In addition to a second-degree battery charge and leaving the scene of an accident with injuries, Hall is facing a traffic violation, according to the news release.
