Manuel Armstrong, 67, of Dumas, passed away at home on January 12, 2022.

He was born July 11, 1954, at Marked Tree, and was the son of Joseph and Maxine Armstrong.

Manuel was a member of Victory Baptist Church, and a welder. He loved the outdoors, hunting and fishing. Manuel also served in the Arkansas National Guard.

He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Armstrong, and a sister, Dodie both preceded him in death.

Survivors are his wife, Sandra Armstrong of Dumas; mother, Maxine Armstrong of Marked Tree; two daughters, Stephanie Harrison and Kim Archer both of Dumas; two brothers, Mike Armstrong of Marked Tree and Danny Armstrong of Waverly, Tennessee; a sister, Shelia McCorkle of Tyronza, Arkansas; three grandsons, Eric, Ryan and Trace; one great grandson, Jayce and expecting a new great grandson, Bentley in a few months.

Visitation will be held Thursday, January 13, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Griffin Funeral Home in Dumas. Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 14, at 10 a.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Chris Russell officiating. Burial will be at Walnut Lake Cemetery.
