Margaret Jean Fisher, 81, of Lake Village, died on December 30, 2014.
She was the administrative assistant to the Chicot County Judge for 10 years, and was deputy assessor for 16 years during her husband, Paul Fisher’s terms.
Mrs. Fisher was a member of the Lake Village Baptist Church, the Ladies Golf Association, the Lake Village Chamber, and the Lake Village Jaycettes. She enjoyed traveling, golf, fishing, and was an avid fan of Arkansas razorback football and basketball.
She was born in Humnoke, on December 19, 1933 and was the daughter of the late Leo and Beatrice Crawford.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Fisher was preceded in death by a sister, Kaye Rice; brothers, Jimmy Crawford, Bobby Crawford, Willie Crawford, and Robert Crawford; and special friend of the family, Matthew Cannatella.
Shs is survived by her husband of 61 years, Paul G. Fisher; sisters, Doris Carter, Patsy Wilson, Carolyn Green, Phyllis Wilder, and Deborah White; a brother, Kim Crawford, and close friends Jim and Joni Cannatella, and Chris and Heather Cannatella.
Visitation will be on January 2 from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Bishop-King Funeral Home, with funeral services on January 3 at 10 a.m. at the Lake Village Baptist Church. Arrangements under the direction of Bishop-King Funeral Home of Lake Village.
