Marguerite Forte Robinson, 99, of Lake Village, died March 7, 2014, at Chicot Memorial Hospital in Lake Village.
She was a homemaker and a communicant of Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church.
Mrs. Robinson was born November 29, 1914 in Albertville, Ala. and was the daughter of the late James Thomas Polk and Charlotte Lawson Polk.
She was also preceded in death by a brother, Tom Polk, and sisters, Jewel Anderson, Willa Hackett, and Bobbie Bowmen.
Survivors are her daughter, Patty Zieman and late husband, Judge Fred Zieman; three grandchildren, Mike Zieman and wife, Suzanne of Monticello, Sam Zieman and wife, Dayla, of Spring, Texas and Charlotte Yandell and husband, John, of Spring, Texas; and seven great-grandchildren, Meri Whitney, McKenzie, Mary Katherine, Anna, and Margaret Zieman and Justin and Cody Mencer.
Visitation is March 9 from 5 p.m. until 6 p.m. at Bishop Funeral Home in Lake Village.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church with Father Theophilus Okpara as celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Isadore Cemetery under the direction of Bishop Funeral Home of Lake Village.
