Marilynn Lou Grantier, 69, of Monticello, died January 20, 2014 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pine Bluff.
She was a native of Hot Springs and a resident of Monticello for the past 15 years. She was a homemaker, devoted wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed cooking. She was of the Apostolic faith.
Mrs. Grantier was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Wanda Edwards Standiford, and one sister Wanda Lee Standiford.
She is survived by her husband of 43 years, John Grantier; one son, Johnathan Grantier of Monticello; one daughter, Shannon Grantier; one step-daughter, Chelle Lenz of Hermitage, Tenn.; and three sisters, Ernestine Ware, husband Travis of Pearcy, Betty Stroope of Hot Springs, Carol Harrison, husband Dale of Bella Vista, and a host of other family members and friends.
Memorial services will be held January 26 at 2:30 pm at Cromwell Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Donald Manning, officiating.
