Marinette Jenkins Lansdale Cater, 77, of Hamburg, passed away September 21, 2020, at Drew Memorial Hospital in Monticello.
She was born February 15, 1943, in Dermott to the late Martin Jenkins and Annie Laura Hoover Jenkins.
She was retired from the Arkansas State Highway Department and a member of the Martinville Baptist Church. Marinette love to read, go shopping and spending time with her cat, Coco.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a brother, Ronald Jenkins.
Survivors include a daughter, Dina Lansdale Kelley and huaband Bobby of Hamburg; a son, Darren Lansdale of Crossett; three stepchildren, Amber Kelly of Barboursville, WV, Doris Nesbitt of El Dorado and Tommy Cater of Lavaca; one sister, Mildred Hayman of Oak Grove, LA; seven grandchildren, Devin Lansdale, Payton Lansdale, Breanna Kelley, Britney Kelley, Hope Cater, Kaitlyn Cater and Nicole Cater; and three great grandchildren, Brylan Bankston, Bristen Bankston and Dallas Spurlock.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, September 25, at the Old Union Cemetery. A come and go visitation following Covid-19 guidelines will be held Thursday from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Home.
