Marion Paul Humphreys, Jr., 49, of McGehee, passed away April 6, 2014.

Mr. Humphreys worked for John Deere in McGehee, for 25 years and served for two years in the U.S. Navy. He loved boating, water skiing and flying model air planes. He also enjoyed tinkering and fixing things. He was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church in Lake Village.

 

Mr. Humphreys was born on May 5, 1964 at Dermott.

Survivors include his mother and step-father, Nora and John Foster of McGehee; his father, Marion Paul Humphreys, Sr. of Dermott; son, Trey Humphreys of McGehee; brother, Mike (Becky) Humphreys of Portland; step-brother, John Foster, Jr. of Payola, Kan.; sister, Alicia (Billy) Bray of Monticello; step-sisters, Colleen (Dave) Payne of Edgerton, Kan. and Teresa (Robert) Stone of Crossett; three nieces and one nephew.

Visitation is April 8 from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Griffin-Culpepper Funeral Service in McGehee,

Funeral services will be held April 9 at 10:30 a.m. at Griffin-Culpepper Funeral Service Chapel in McGehee with Revs. Sonny Royce and Phillip Payne officiating. Burial will be at Oak Grove Cemetery in Lake Village.
