Marion Taylor Hale, 76, of Lake Village, passed away on July 16, 2016.
He enlisted in the military at the age of 17 years and served four years in the Navy. In 1961, he began his career as a sweeper at the local factory in Lake Village eventually working his way up to maintenance supervisor. He continued his career as maintenance supervisor at Eudora Garment, a job he served proudly.
Mr. Hale was born on May 24, 1940 in Lake Village and was the son of the late Brady Pope Hale and Mary Elizabeth Austin Hale.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Earlene Hale Keech; and one grandchild.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Barbara Jean Rosson Hale, of Lake Village; a son, Bryan Hale (Kristy Hale); three daughters, Cindy Hale Lewis (Jeff Hollis), Deborah Hale Perdue, and Jennifer Hale (David McGough); a brother, Willis Hale; one sister, Jean Troutt (James Troutt); seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on July 18 from 6-8 p.m. at Bishop-King Funeral Home in Lake Village. Funeral services will be held on July 19 at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Lake Village Cemetery.
