Marjorie Cole Deal, 85, of Warren, passed away May 17, 2014 at Warren.

Mrs. Deal was a member of the First Baptist Church of Warren where she taught Sunday School for more than 30 years. She was a retired bookkeeper who worked for C.A. Milton, Glynn Lyon Pontiac and Buick Auto Sales and Blankinship Motor Company. She was a lifetime member of the Junior Auxiliary.

Mrs. Deal was born on October 4, 1928 at Electric Mills, Miss. and was the daughter of the late John Conway Cole and Eloise Wilson Cole.

She was also preceded in death by two sons, John Deal and Jessie Deal; a brother John C. Cole; and a sister Dorothy Dolle.

She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Ralph Conrad Deal; two daughters, Dana Denton (husband Curt) and Denise Cuthbertson (husband Robert) both of Warren; a son, Mark Conrad Deal of Pine Bluff; and a sister, Frances Campbell, Brandon, Miss.

Also surviving are five grandchildren, Chase C. Denton (Ginger) of Alexander, John C. Denton (Dana), Leesburg, Ga., Lindsey C. Watson of Warren, Dennen Cuthbertson of Jonesboro, and Katie Cuthbertson of Little Rock; six great-grandchildren, Cole Denton of Alexander, Baylor and Presleigh Watson of Warren, Lydia Denton of Leesburg, Ga., Tessa and Marley Nix of Alexander; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held May 19 at 2 p.m. at Oakland Cemetery in Warren. Visitation is at Frazer’s Funeral Home on May 19 at 12:30 p.m. until service time.

Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of Warren or the Bradley County Veteran Museum.
