Marjorie Earlene Norris Farabough, 81, of Gould, passed away on February 20, 2020 at Dumas.
She was born on March 11, 1938 at Dumas to the late Harry Curtis and Edith Gibson Norris.
Mrs. Farabough was an active member of Smyrna Missionary Baptist Church where she served faithfully in many roles. She was an active part of the Smyrna Ladies Auxiliary and served as church pianist for more than 50 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, David Farabough.
Survivors are her son, Davey Farabough and daughter-in-law Jeri of Dumas; two grandchildren, Lauren Farabough and John David Farabough; three sisters, June Myrick, Bunny McConnell and Barbara Dancer; and a host of adopted children and grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Friday, February 21 from 6-8 p.m. at Griffin Funeral Home in Dumas. Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 22 at 2 p.m. at Smyrna Missionary Baptist Church in Dumas with Bro. Charles McBryde and Bro. Julius Carter officiating. Burial will follow at Walnut Lake Cemetery with Bro. Steve Hoskins leading the graveside service.
