Mark Alexander Tyson

Mark Alexander Tyson, 52, of Longview, formerly of Crossett, passed away on January 7, 2020, at his residence.

He was born on April 8, 1967, to his parents, Alex and Betty Tyson.

Mr. Tyson was a lifelong resident of Ashley County and a member of First Freewill Baptist Church. He was a 1985 graduate of Crossett High School and served in the Arkansas National Guard. He worked many years for Steve Bolin Logging. He was a hard worker who loved his job, being in the woods and loved the outdoors.

Mr. Tyson enjoyed fishing, hunting, riding four-wheelers, and especially loved being with his family. He was a kind-hearted soul who never met a stranger and would do anything for anyone.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Matthew Lee Tyson; a granddaughter, Amiracle Tyson; and his grandparents, George, and Blanche Tyson, and Doyle and Doris Blankinship.

He is survived by two sons, Mark Allen Tyson and Brady Michael Tyson; and his parents, Alex and Betty Tyson, all of Crossett; three grandchildren; and his ex-wife and long-time friend, Dana Tyson of Collinston, Louisiana.

The family will have an informal gathering of family and friends on Saturday, January 11, at 1 p.m. at the home of Alex and Betty Tyson in Crossett.
