Marlie Dale Moreland, Sr., 72, of Watson passed away at his home on August 23, 2020.

He was born on February 10, 1948 in Lonoke and was the son of the late, T.R. and Fannie Pearl Chambers Moreland.

Mr. Moreland was a farmer and owner of Moreland Farms for more than 30 years, member of Watson Assembly of God Church, former member of Dumas Bass Club and Hunting Club Conservation League.

Survivors are his wife, Faye Moreland of Watson; two sons, Kenneth Wayne Dixon of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Marlie Dale Moreland of Denham Springs, Louisiana; four sisters, Betty Thompson, Brenda Morgan and Glenda Ward, all of McGehee, and Debi Robinson of White Hall; six grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, August 26, from 9 a.m. until 10 a.m. at the Watson Assembly of God Church. A funeral service will follow at 10 a.m. with Rev. Roger Pierce, Rev. Marlin Resinger and Rev. Freddie McCann officiating. Burial will be at Watson Cemetery.
