Marnell Edmonds Green, 82 of Crossett, died August 5, 2014 at Pinewood Health & Rehabilitation.
She was a native of Lincoln County, a homemaker, and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. She enjoyed sewing and crafts and she was a devoted mother who loved spending time with her family.
Mrs. Green was preceded in death by her husband, Haywood Edison Green; her parents, George Carl and Beulah Morrison Edmonds; and three brothers, J.G. Edmonds, Joe Gray and Hubert Edmonds.
She is survived by her son, Carl Delmon Green and wife Barbara of Crossett; a daughter, Gail Jeffers and husband Carl Jr., of Hamburg; three brothers, Billy Edmonds and wife Ardath, Charles Ray Edmonds and wife Shirley and Mackie Edmonds and wife Vickie all of Star City; a sister, Tootsie Bradshaw and husband George Allen of Star City; two grandchildren, Matthew Jeffers and wife Traci of Smackover and Tia Holcomb of Hamburg; and a host of other family, loved ones and friends.
Graveside memorial services will be held August 9 at 3 p.m. at Butler Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Star City.
