Martha Faye Griffith, 71, of Rohwer, passed away on May 3, 2016.
She was born on June 26, 1944 in Desha County, to the late Robert Lovell and Lottie Mae Cosgrave Rader.
She was always willing to help others. She loved animals, especially her dogs and cats, and enjoyed fishing and quilting. She was of the Christian faith.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, John Lee King, James David Peacock, and DeWayne Griffith; a son, Clarence Lee King; a daughter, Charlotte Anne King; a brother, Herman Rader; and a sister, Ora May.
Survivors include her daughters, Frankie (Gilbert) Garcia of West Texas, Mary (Chuck) Peterson of Hamburg, Dorothy (George) Trigleth of Eudora, and Thelma (John) Sullivan of Warren; stepchildren, DeWayne Griffith of Hot Springs and Korean Griffith; brothers, Warren Rader and Lester Rader of Arkansas City and Clarence Rader of Rohwer; a sister, Vera Preston of McGehee; seven grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on May 6 from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Griffin-Culpepper Funeral Service in McGehee.
Funeral services will be held on May 7 at 11 a.m. at Griffin-Culpepper Funeral Service in McGehee with Rev. Kenny Culpepper officiating. Burial will be at Carlock Cemetery in Ashley County.
