Marvin David Crook, 63, of Monticello, passed away on October 22, 2017 at his home.
He was a retired truck driver and a Christian.
Mr. Crook was born on April 12, 1954 in Monticello to the late Donald Leroy Crook and Mattie Virginia Lane Crook.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by two brothers, Danny Crook and Donald Crook; two twin sisters, Brenda Adams and Linda Crick; and one great-grandson, Gauge.
Survivors include his wife, Patricia Haynes Crook of Monticello; four daughters, Becky Caldwell and husband Keith, Angela Crook and Jennifer Crook Majors all of Monticello and Kimberly Hampton of Warren; one son, Joshua Crook of Clarksdale; one sister, Mary Kirton and husband Lamar of Monticello; nine grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A funeral service will be held at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, October 24, at Stephenson-Dearman Chapel with burial to follow in Union Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. until 5 p.m. on Tuesday prior to the funeral service.
