Marvin Leslie Wall passed away at the age of 77 on January 30, 2018 after a sudden illness.
Graveside funeral services will be held on Friday, February 2, at 10 a.m. at the Tillar Cemetery with Minister Rickey Eppes officiating. Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday, February 1, at Griffin-Culpepper Funeral Service in McGehee.
Mr. Wall attended the University of Arkansas where he received a master’s degree in entomology and was a member of the Farmhouse Fraternity. After college, he served as a navy lieutenant in the Vietnam War. He retired from the University of Arkansas Extension Service where he served Southeast Arkansas farmers until 1995 as an entomologist. He was a member of McGehee Church of Christ.
Mr. Wall is survived by his wife of 54 years, Frances Wall; two children and their spouses, Leslie (Darren) Pierce and Steven (Arlus) Wall; four grandchildren, Joshua (Lindsey) Jenkins, Whitney Wall, Madeline Pierce and Andrew Pierce.
Pallbearers will be Mar Miles, Scott Tefteller, Johnny Singleton, Jeff Felts, David Box and Larry Williams.
