Mary Bobette Anderson, 61, of Star City, died on March 4, 2019.
She was born on April 2, 1957 in Pine Bluff to A. F. “Bully” Young and the late Francille Wilson Young.
She was a hairdresser for several years and enjoyed spending time with her grand and great-grand children. She was a very loving and caring person, always making the needs of others a priority.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Anderson; mother, Francille Young; sister, Renia Young; and many other loving family and friends.
She is survived by her father, A. F. “Bully” Young of Calmer; two sons, Steve (Gennaifer) Ashcraft and Scott (India) Ashcraft of Calmer; four daughters, Shanda Stephens of Star City, Michelle (Randy) Hogg and Kelly Smith of Star City, and Katie Lingo of Louisiana; brother, Rick (Mae) Young of Woodlawn; sisters, Kathy (Mark) Halley of Woodlawn; 16 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, March 6, at Griffin Funeral Chapel with Bro. Charles Woolley officiating. Visitation is Tuesday, March 5 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Greenmount Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Justin Womack, Mike Ashcraft, Clayton Ashcraft, Brandon Ashcraft, Brian Halley and Trevor McDaniel.
