mary-catherin-suitt-aycockMary Catherine Suitt Aycock, 69, of Lake Village passed away on October 7, 2016 at Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock.

Mrs. Aycock was born on September 13, 1947 in Lake Village. She was the daughter of the late Russell B. Suitt and the late Mary Jo (Forte) Suitt.

She married Thomas H. Aycock on August 8, 1970, in Lake Village. She was a member of Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Lake Village, Lake Village Heritage Club, Lake Village Civic Club, Our Lady of the Lake Church Altar Society, Delta Kappa Gamma Teacher Organization, Alpha Sigma Alpha Sorority, various local Bridge clubs, and a teacher for 42 years at Lakeside and Dermott Public School Districts.

She is survived by her husband, Thomas H. Aycock; two daughters, Andrea Aycock Bowman and husband, Douglas of Rockwall, Texas, and Mary Anne Aycock Rocconi and husband Louis of Knoxville, Tennessee; and two sons, Stuart Aycock and wife, Danielle of Lake Village and Andrew Aycock and wife, Christa of Lake Village; one sister, Anne Suitt Hicks of Portland; and seven grandchildren: Hannah Bowman, Nicholas Aycock, Emma Aycock, Emily Bowman, Christopher Aycock, Caroline Aycock, and Arabella Rocconi.

Visitation will be held on October 10, from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. with Rosary at 6 p.m. at Bishop-King Funeral Home, Lake Village.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10 a.m. on October 11, at Our Lady of the Lake, 314 South Lakeshore, Lake Village with Father Theophillus Okpara officiating.

Burial will be at St. Isidore Cemetery in Lake Village following Mass.
