University of Arkansas-Monticello outfielder John Mauldin became the first player in Great American Conference and UAM history to hit four homeruns in a single game on Friday and helped lead the Weevils to their 18th consecutive win on Saturday.

UAM (24-8, 18-4 GAC) swept the three-game weekend series against Oklahoma Baptist, 19-2, 6-2, 10-8.

In 19 plate appearances, Mauldin had 10 hits, 6 RBI, 4 homeruns and a .526 batting average for the week. For his efforts, he was named the GAC Player of the Week.

The Weevils will be home on Wednesday, taking on Union University (10-25) at 3 p.m.
