Mike Curtsinger, an Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) master automotive technician, has joined the faculty at the UAM College of Technology-McGehee, according to vice chancellor Bob Ware.

Curtsinger will teach a variety of classes in engine repair, including electrical and electronic systems, brakes, suspension and steering, engine performance, transmission and transaxles, manual drive train and axles, and automotive climate control.

“We are pleased to add someone with Mike’s expertise to our faculty,” said Ware. “To have an ASE certified master automotive technician is a plus for our program and particularly for our students, including those who are pursuing a technical certificate in automotive technology or an associate of applied science degree in general technology.”

Curtsinger has worked for Nissan, the Nashville Auto Diesel College, and is a certified master technician for both Mazda and Hyundai.
