“Nature Nights,” noncredit community education courses in partnership with the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission, will be offered September through December at the UAM College of Technology-McGehee.

The classes are open to all ages and will be offered September 21, October 19, November 16 and December 21 from 6 to 7:30 p.m.

“Meet the Game Warden,” scheduled for September 21, will include a visit with a local wildlife officer to learn more about the job responsibilities of a game warden. A class in archery will be offered October 19 and include lessons in how to shoot a compound bow. “Tech by Nature” will be offered November 16 and will include instruction in how to use a smartphone or tablet in the outdoors. The final class, “Christmas Nature Crafts,” will allow participants to make and keep their own creations from nature.
