Scott Sims
Scott Sims, a recent graduate of McGehee High School, will be completing his reign as acting Arkansas Boys State Governor this week.

Sims, who was valedictorian of his class this year, carried a 4.235 grade point average and was captain of the football team. He also placed 5th in state in discus on the track team and was the Arkansas Beta president.

Sims received the Arkansas Governors Distinguished Scholarship and will attend the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville where he will major in finance and attend law school. He plans to enter politics in the future.

Sims is the son of Norris and Jamie Sims of McGehee.
