Melba Jean Burch, 64, of Star City passed away Sunday, September 6, 2015 at her home.
Mrs. Burch was born on December 6, 1950 in Dermott to the late Oliver and Dot Snow. She was a member of the Church of Nazerene in McGehee and a retired homemaker.
She was preceded in death by, her parents, the late Oliver and Dot Snow a brother, Michael Snow; and sister, Becky Herring.
Mrs. Burch is survived by her husband, Jerry Burch of Star City; four children, Jonathan Burch of Monticello, Tammy Peterson of McGehee, Sonda Oliver of Little Rock and Tonya Lampkin of McGehee; three brothers, David Snow of McGehee, Rodney Snow of Collins and Steve Snow of McGehee; three sisters, Patty Curtis, Norma King both of Selma and Janice Ferguson of Collins; grandchildren, Annie White, Brooke Lampkin, Victoria Oliver and Kaycen Burch; great grandchild, Kinsey Rodgers Burch and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral services will be held on September 10 at 2 p.m. at Holly Springs Missionary Baptist Church in Star City. Bro. J.C. Patterson will officiate. Burial will follow at McArthur Cemetery in McArthur.
Visitation is September 9 from 7:30 p.m. until 9:30 p.m. at Holly Springs Missionary Baptist Church in Star City.
