Melissa Ann Cayton Forrest, 35, of Monticello, passed away on February 20, 2018 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
She was born August 3, 1982 in Little Rock and was the daughter of Teddy C. Cayton, Sr. and Shelia Troy Cayton Holstead.
Mrs. Forrest was a graduate of Jefferson School of Nursing, a registered nurse employed by Arkansas Hospice and was a Christian of the Pentecostal Church of God faith. She was a very loving wife, daughter, mother and nurse who was very devoted to her job and clients. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed.
Survivors include her husband, Shannon Forrest of Monticello; a daughter, Martha Jane Worrell of Monticello; her father and stepmother, Teddy and Diane Cayton of Hermitage; her mother, Shelia Holstead of Warren; one brother, Teddy C. Cayton, Jr. of Monticello; a stepsister, Melissa Ann Hilton of Hermitage; a stepson, Michael Forrest of Monticello; two grandchildren, Konnon Forrest and Cayson Forrest; two nephews, Trisan Cayton and Kameran Brazier; one niece, Emily Hilton; and numerous other relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, February 25 at 2 p.m. at Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Home in Monticello
