Michael Anthony “Jethro” Ratterree, 54, of Star City, passed away on October 10, 2017 with his loving family beside him Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pine Bluff.
He was born on July 11, 1963 in Dumas to the late Billy Charles Ratterree and Patricia Johnson Quickel.
He loved his family and deer hunting. He was a truck driver and at an early age he loved being behind the wheel of a Peterbilt.
Survivors include his son, Jason (Kayla) Ratterree of Hermitage; daughter, Anna Marie (Randy) Allgor of Texarkana, Texas; sister, Kathy (Tracy) Scott of Star City; five grandchildren, Colt Ratterree, Samuel Ratterree, Weston Peterson, Cade Allgor and Kailey Coody; and a host of nephews and nieces.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 11 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Griffin Funeral Service in Star City.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, October 12 at the Butler/Pleasant Hill Cemetery with Bro. Don Borland and Bro. Kenneth Dailey officiating.
Pallbearers are Joey Ratterree, Jeff Ratterree, Joey Harper, Johnathan Smart, Andy Scott, Danny Anderson, Johnny Pevey and Steve Anderson. Honorary pallbearers are Billy McTigrit, Kevin McEntire and Mitchell Johnson.
The family will be at the home of Andy and Amanda Scott, 1003 Dogwood, Star City.
