Michael Fowler, 68, of Star City passed away unexpectedly on the family farm on Friday, February 12, 2021.
He was born October 13, 1952 in Star City to the late B.F. and Juanita (Holcomb) Fowler.
Michael grew up in the Little Garnett community and was a 1970 graduate of Star City High School. He owned and operated Fowler Tractor and Equipment and raised cattle with his nephew, Justin Fowler.
Michael was a member of the Big F Hunting Club. He enjoyed deer hunting, running his dog, Little Bit, going to auctions, raising and selling his beef cows and spending time with his daughter.
He is survived by his daughter, Misty Fowler of Star City; two brothers Marshall (Vada) Fowler of Mt. Pine and Merwin (Ginger) Fowler of Star City; two sisters, Sandra (Charlie) Armstrong of Dell and Karen (Doug) Halter of Rogers and many loving nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held Sunday, February 14 at 2 p.m. at Holly Springs Cemetery with Pastor Justin Holt officiating.
Pallbearers will be Jerry McGhee, Randall Parrish, Randall Dutton, Ray Jones, Mike Bostian, Mark Bennett and Doug Brockman. Honorary Pallbearers are Roger Donaldson, Burl Dean Robertson, Norman Nichols, Robert Rupe, Bill Trout, Bobby Boney and Tim Estes. All current Covid-19 guidelines will be followed.
There will be no formal visitation. Arrangements by Griffin Funeral Service of Star City.
