Michael Linc Wynn, 67, of Hot Springs, formerly of Star City, passed away October 7, 2020 at his home.
He was born August 15, 1953 in Star City at the Lincoln Hospital.
Mike was a member of Diamond Head Community Church in Hot Springs; a retired accountant with Arkansas Board of Corrections; a member of the Diamond Head Community Board of Directors, where he had served as past president and also served on two other committees; a former member of the Arkansas Archeological Society; and was an alumni of the University of Arkansas at Monticello where he graduated with a B.S. degree in accounting.
Mike had a very unique sense of humor and loved to make people laugh. He was an avid hunter, reader, and he also loved gardening, antiques, guns and traveling.
Preceding him in death were his mother, Doris Faye Johnson Wynn; first wife, Sandra Kay Nichols Wynn; a daughter, Ashley Wynn; and a son, Shawn Allen White.
Survivors include his wife, Allison Shepherd Wynn of Hot Springs; father, Joe T. Wynn of Star City; two sons, Scott (Summer) Wynn of Pansy and Christopher Scott (Felicia) Branscum of Benton; a daughter, Lauren (Josh) McDade of Sheridan; a brother, Clay (Jenny) Wynn of Star City; a sister, Toni Stephens of Star City; a son-in-law, Jeremy Lowry of Hot Springs; and nine grandchildren, Jayden White, Jacquilyn White, Torcan Lowry, Brannagh Lowry, Lilli Holmes, Slade McDade, Sophia McDade, Declan Scott Wynn and Amelia Branscum.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, October 11 at 2 p.m. at Griffin Funeral Chapel in Star City.
Visitation is Saturday, October 10 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Trinity Cemetery in Crigler.
Pallbearers are Josh McDade, Mike Brockman, Hoot Gibson, Torcan Lowry, Josh Yarberry, Jeremy Lowry, Jaylen Mallett and Alex Shepherd.
