Michael “Mike” Lee Zollman, 61, of Crossett, passed away on September 11, 2018, at his home.
He worked at Georgia Pacific as a maintenance supervisor for 23 years. He retired in 1998.
Mr. Zollman was born on August 31, 1957, in Otisco, Indiana and spent most of his childhood in Waynesville, Missouris where he graduated high school in 1974.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, shopping and walking the aisles at the local Wal-Mart. He was a storyteller and was always willing to talk about his son, who served in Operation Iraqi Freedom with the U.S. Army. He was very proud of his family and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
Mr. Zollman was preceded in death by his father and step-mother, Chester and Hazel Zollman; his mother, Donna Ann Plummer; a brother, David Alan Zollman; and a sister, Kathy Graves.
He is survived by his wife, Tina Massey Zollman of Crossett; a son, Marty Zollman (Janet) of Crossett; three daughters, Tracy Baker (Bob) of Belleville, Michigan, Jennifer Smith (Chris) of Crossett, and Jessica Murphy (Colin) of Orlando, Florida; three special children, Kelly Wilcoxen (Steven), Greg Rogers, and Michelle Johnston (Wade) all of Crossett; grandchildren, The Baker Boys, Emily, Hazel, Joey, Jaiden, Gunner, Chan-man, Rayelynn, Madison and Nick; 12 brothers and sisters; a brother-in-law, Richard Saseen of Crossett; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 14 from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m. at Medders Funeral Home in Crossett.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, September 15, at 10 a.m., at Medders Funeral Home Chapel, located at 1564 Highway 52 West at Crossett.
