State Police are requesting the assistance of anyone who may have information relating to the disappearance of a 29-year-old Mississippi man whose vehicle was discovered just over a week ago near the Ashley-Chicot County line.
Robert Ross of Jackson, Miss. was last seen on March 28 when he picked up his payroll check at a Jackson business then headed for Arkansas, reportedly to visit a friend. He hasn’t been seen since.

Evidence inside the vehicle caused State Police and local law enforcement officials to suspect foul play.
State Police have issued a news release requesting the assistance of anyone with information about Ross’ disappearance. Anyone who may have who may have seen Ross in Arkansas between March 28 and April 1 or has information about his disappearance is asked to contact State Police Special Agent Rick McKelvey at (870) 850-8630.
