Monda Renee McGriff Conner, 59, of Star City, passed away February 16, 2022.
She was born January 31, 1963 in Pine Bluff.
Monda had a heart full of hippy dust and crazy unconditional love. She loved to dance under the light of the moon. She loved to laugh. She loved to listen to music for hours at a time. And she loved her daughters with all the love she had to give.
She enjoyed gardening, spending time outdoors, traveling, watching Cooking Wars and Yellowstone, spending time with her kids and grandkids, and her dog Sookie. She was a beautician and caregiver.
Preceding her in death were her mother, Doris Rogers; sister, Michelle Keever; and sister-in-law, Pam McGriff; and stepmother, Joyce McGriff.
Survivors include her father, Lee Edward McGriff of Star City; three daughters, Mistie (Brian Harrison) Killingsworth of Star City, Amanda (Terry Ballard) Killingsworth of Monticello, and Kaylon (Gary) Brigham of Monticello; three brothers, Mark McGriff, Miles (Sonja) McGriff, and Mike (Mary) McGriff, all of Star City; sister, Leann (Kevin) Frye of Star City; three stepbrothers, Terry Kirtley of Sapulpa, Oklahoma, Scott (Carmen) Kirtley of Cabot, and Shawn Kirtley of Star City; 10 grandchildren, Kristin, Kynlee, Jon Luke, Jacob, Joshua, Madelin, Austin, Hunter, Kaidyn, and Sophia; one great-grandchild, Ryleigh and aunt, Janis Scott of Star City.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 26, at 3 p.m. at Griffin Funeral Chapel in Star City with Bro. Rob Leonard officiating.
