The Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department will conduct a public hearing on April 9 at the Drew Central High School Cafeteria to present and discuss the proposed design of the western portion of the Monticello Bypass, from U.S. 278 West to U.S. 425.
The proposed 11.3 mile project will be located in Drew County and consists of constructing a two lane highway on new location. The project will be a part of the future four lane divided highway that will connect to I-530.
The hearing will be a an “open house” hearing from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. with no formal presentations. The public is invited to visit anytime during the scheduled hours to view exhibits, ask questions, and offer comments.
