The 23rd annual Carols of Christmas Parade in historic downtown Monticello will be held on November 29, at 6 pm.

The parade will feature Christmas floats and other entries with the traditional Christmas carol theme.

The parade will follow its usual route down North Main Street, around the town square to South Main and end at the Drew County Historical Museum where the Drew County Historical Society will host its annual Christmas tour of the museum and children can meet Santa Claus.

The Drew Central booster clubs will be selling hot chocolate and cotton candy during the parade and the Monticello High School booster club will sponsor a chili supper at First United Methodist Church immediately after the parade.

A pre-parade reception will held at 5 p.m. at Union Bank on the town square where parade-goers can meet Miss Arkansas and the parade judges.
