Monticello Christmas Parade

 

The 21st annual Monticello Carols of Christmas parade will be held on Tuesday, December 2 at 6 p.m. The parade will feature Christmas floats and other entries with the traditional Christmas carol theme.

Participants are encouraged to select their Christmas carol as soon an possible and register their carol-themed float by calling the Monticello-Drew County Chamber of Commerce at (870) 367-6741. All floats must be lighted and music is encouraged. There is no entry fee, but no two entries may use the same Christmas carol.

The parade will follow its usual route down North Main Street, around the town square to South Main and end at the Drew County Historical Museum where the Drew County Historical Society will host its annual candlelight tour of the museum. Hot cider and cookies will be served in the log cabin behind the museum.

Miss Arkansas Teen USA 2015, Arynn Johnson, will be the parade marshal.
