The Monticello School District has begun the AdvancED accreditation process and is asking the parents of students to complete a complete a survey.
“In an effort to improve system practices, Monticello Elementary School, Monticello Intermediate School, Monticello Middle School, and Monticello High School are conducting parent surveys,” Monticello School District Superintendent Bobby Harper said. “We value your opinion and ask that you take the time to complete the survey.”
The link to the parent surveys will be available on the Monticello School District website, and each school’s website, from October 14 until November 1. Direct link to the survey.
Responses to the surveys will be anonymous.
“If you have children in more than one school in the district, please answer one survey for each school in which a child is enrolled,” Harper said. “Once you open the survey, there will be a drop down menu to select your child’s school.”
Those who do not have access to the internet may complete the survey on computers at the their child’s school. Location and dates when the survey may be taken at the schools:
Monticello Elementary School: October 28 and 29 from 3:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. during parent-teacher conferences.
Monticello Intermediate School: October 17 from 3:30 p.m. until 5:30 p.m. during the after-school program “Lights On After School” or on October 21 and 22 from 3:30-6:30 p.m. during parent-teacher conferences.
Monticello Middle School: October 17 from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. during the after school program’s “Lights On After School.”
Monticello High School: October 22 from 7 a.m until 7 p.m. in the Monticello High School Library.
