A Monticello High School teacher is one of four finalists for 2012 Arkansas Teacher of the Year.

Kimberly Kaye Wilson, a visual arts teacher at Monticello High School, is one of four finalists chosen from regional finalists around the state.

Wilson has 16 years teaching experience and holds degrees from Winthrop University in South Carolina, Trinity College in Vermont, Kent State University in Ohio, and the University of Arkansas at Monticello.

Other state finalists are Shelina Mashail Warren of Pine Bluff, Kara Jones of Conway, and Matthew Garrett of Rogers. The winner will be announced in November.
