Myrtle G. Tillman, 73, of Warren, passed away on April 26, 2016 at her home.

She was retired from Wal-Mart where she worked for 23 years. She also worked for A.V.A Vending for 18 years and Jack Winters in Warren. Mrs. Tillman was a member of the First Assembly of God Church and a graduate of the Banks High School.

She was born on May 27, 1942 at Blue Springs near Banks and was the daughter of the late John T. Gardner and Quinnie Thomason Gardner.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John E. Tillman; three brothers, Bill Gardner, Bryan Gardner and Jim Gardner; and three sisters, Ruby Tully, Ole Jean Hlavaty and Polly Gardner.

She is survived by a son, Herschel Tillman and wife Kim of Warren; three daughters, Donna Wilson and husband Mark of Rogers, Julie Hamilton and husband Kenny of Warren, and Carol Sellers and husband Robert of Warren; a sister Florence Dickens of Benton; 11 grandchildren, Chad Wilson, Jennifer Grimes, Clay Wilson, Chastity Hamilton, Courtney Hamilton, Codi Temple, James Jones, Jessica Jester, Carrie Smith, Ginnie Sellers and John David Tillman; and seven great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on April 30 at 10 a.m. at First Assembly of God Church with Revs. Jim Bales and Michael Gardner officiating. Burial will be at McFarland Cemetery by Frazer’s Funeral Home of Warren.

Visitation is April 29 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
