Myrtle Leen Jenkins, 84, of Crossett, passed away on June 20, 2014 at the Ashley County Medical Center.
Mrs. Jenkins was a homemaker who enjoyed fishing, camping and listening to bluegrass music. She was a member of Community Chapel Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Tom Jack and Lonie Belle Barnett Watt; her husband of 53 years, Willie Herman Jenkins; five brothers, Lindsey, Melvin, Leroy, Troy and Clyde Watt; and two sisters, Clarice Joiner, Annie Lou Rushing.
Survivors include four sons, Jimmy Jenkins (Mary) of Texarkana, Texas, Billy Jenkins, Glen Jenkins (Elizabeth) and David Jenkins (Maggie), all of Crossett; two daughters, Betty Williams (Owen) of Crossett and Peggy Sue Morgan (Mike) of Hamburg; one brother, Jessie “Jap” Watt (Lois) of Crossett; one sister, Nancy Marie Marter (Bruce) of Huttig; 15 grandchildren, Lane and Jason Williams, Jeanie Morgan, Susan Streeter, Brian, Kenny, Timmy and Glen David Jenkins, Makayla, Samatha and Brandon Jenkins, Carol Ann Braswell, Krystal, Dalton and Seth Hartzog; 23 great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and special friends.
Funeral services will be held June 22 at 2 p.m. at Jarvis Chapel with Bros. Mike Chain and Mike Griffith officiating. Interment will follow at Crossroads Cemetery under the direction of Jones Funeral Home of Crossett.
