Nancy C. Garth Myers, 84, of Hamburg, passed away on May 18, 2015 at Drew Memorial Hospital in Monticello.
She was homemaker and member of the Pleasant Grove Freewill Baptist Church where she served as church secretary for 40 years. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother always putting others first.
Mrs. Myers was born on May 7, 1931 in Des Arc to the late Robert Garth and Clarice Cochran Garth Wallace.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Garland “Buddy” Myers; a son, Roger Myers; her stepfather, Robert Wallace; a brother, Grant Garth; and a sister, Bobbie Westbrook.
Survivors include a grandson, Grant Myers and wife Kelly of Monticello; three granddaughters, Wendy Hodges and husband Andy of Arkadelphia, Tyanna Grant and husband Michael of Monticello and Ashley Myers also of Monticello; a daughter-in-law, Karen Myers of Monticello; three brothers, Tommy Wallace and wife Mary of Benton, Mike Wallace and wife Judy of Benton and Sherman Wallace of Point Cedar; a sister, Shirley Miller and husband R.K. of Surprise, Arizona; eight great-grandchildren, Alan, Holly, Karson, Chloe, Claire, Kenley, Peyton and Jaxon; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral service will be held May 21 at 10 a.m. at Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Chapel with burial in Lone Sassafras Cemetery. Visitation will be May 20 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
