Mrs. Loveless was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Monticello and was an honorary lifetime member of The Presbyterian Women. She graduated with honors from Lake Hamilton High School.
Mrs. Loveless was a nurse for Dr. Wilson and Dr. Price for several years. Prior to that, she was the secretary at First Presbyterian Church. She also worked at Burlington Industries. She has created many beautiful things throughout the years by sewing, crocheting, quilting and painting. Fishing was one of her favorite past times. She was also a great cook.
Mrs. Loveless was born on March 14, 1935, at Hot Springs and was the daughter of the late Edward and Eva Mary Peters Bailey.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Eugene “Gene” Loveless and three brothers, Pete, Podge and Doc Bailey.
Surviving her are two sons, Jeffery Scott Loveless and wife, Karon of Monticello and Gregory Allen Loveless and wife, Carol of the Green Hill Community; six grandchildren, Heath Loveless of Monticello, Cassidy Loveless Gavin of Monticello, Emily Loveless Groves (Jeremy) of Warren, Jahue Loveless, Mariah Gober Bradley (Byron) and John Wyatt Loveless all of Wilmar; three great grandchildren, Caper and Trapper Groves and Stetson Bradley. She is also survived by a very special niece, Kim Grisham of Royal; and many friends.
Funeral service will be held on January 13 at 11:30 a.m. at Stephenson-Dearman Chapel with burial in Sixteenth Section Cemetery. Visitation is January 12 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
