Naomi Stratton Wilson, 78, of McGehee died on September 21, 2015.
She was born at Des Arc and was the daughter of the late Boyd and Carrie Fisher Stratton.
Mrs. Wilson was raised in the Kelso area before marrying and moving to California. She returned to Arkansas in 1997. She loved to cook, sew and make crafts. She loved her family, especially her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a member of Kelso Baptist Church.
Other than her parents she was preceded in death by a son, Kenneth Wilson and a sister, Ruthie Bilbrey.
Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Charles Wilson; two sons, Gary Alan Wilson and Randal Wilson of Little Rock; three daughters, Donita Lambert of Lake Village, Juanita Schlager of Grass Valley, California and Heather Wilson of Cabot; four brothers, W.L. Stratton of Jasper, Texas, Ernest Stratton of Simi Valley, California, Ray Stratton of Modesto, California and Ricky Stratton of Hot Springs; a sister, Linda Woods of Simi Valley, California; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be September 24 from 6 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. at Griffin-Culpepper Funeral Service in McGehee.
Funeral services will be held on September 25 at 10 a.m. at Kelso Baptist Church with Rev. Bob Courtney officiating. Burial will follow at the Wilson family cemetery.
