Nevene Chandler, 98, of Crossett, passed away on Saturday, March 13, 2021, at the Ashley County Medical Center.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Benjamine Leo Chandler; her only son, Benny Leo Chandler, and one great-great-grandchild, Aria-Jade McGowen.
Her survivors include six grandchildren, Tammie Moreno (Eli) of Hot Springs, Leo Chandler, Jr. (Jana) of Crossett, Jody Chandler (Alyssa) of Benton, Jimmy Gilley of Springhill, Louisiana, Joe Gilley (Kim) of Crossett, and Judy Brazier also of Benton, and one daughter-in-law, Doris Marie Chandler of Crossett; along with thirteen great-grandchildren; and fifteen great-great-grandchildren.
