Obie Cecil Snow, 86, of Stanton, Tennessee, formerly of McGehee, Arkansas, passed away Sunday, December 26, 2021.
He was born November 1, 1935 in McArthur, Arkansas to the late C.E. Snow and Gladys Keeton Snow.
Obie was a longtime farmer. He owned and operated Snow Gravel Hauling and formerly attended Antioch Baptist Church, where he was involved in bus ministry. He later became a charter member of Liberty Baptist Church and continued his bus ministry there.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife of almost 62 years, Mildred Irons Snow; son, Jeffrey (Kathy) Snow of Stanton, Tennessee; daughter, Melanie (Jerry) Drewett of Memphis, Tennessee; brothers, Otis Snow of Rohwer, Arkansas and Gary Snow of Hope, Arkansas; sisters, Shirley Kozubski of McGehee and Debra Burch of McGehee; grandchildren, Dr. Jeffrey Reagan Snow, Brianna Snow, Bethany Lestina, and Kayla Drewett.
A graveside service will be held at Thursday, December 30, at 10:30 a.m. at McArthur Cemetery in McArthur, with Stanley Irons officiating.
